Extremely versatile, the system can be used in passable ducts for the restoration of cracks or defective sections, the sealing of joints or the protection of the pipe walls from corrosive fluids.
The gaskets are used to restore pipes from the inside with diameters starting from DN 500 up to DN 8000 and above, with operating pressures up to 20 bar. They are suitable for a wide range of fluids, including gas, drinking water, industrial or irrigation water, sewage or industrial waste, hydrocarbons and many others. The sections of the pipes can be not only circular or oval, but also square, rectangular or polygonal.
The gasket, thanks to its elasticity, guarantees a perfect seal between the two parts at the turn of the defect even in the event of shocks or vibrations of the ground.
The high quality of the materials used, the vulcanization of all the rubber parts and their high resistance guarantee a seal life of 50 and more years. Furthermore it is possible to use different mixtures of rubber and steel depending on the fluid transported.
The preparation of the tube involves a manual brushing of the affected area, or occasionally grinding; if the defective joint is very open, it can be grouted with quick-setting mortar or with a laminate. The rubber sleeve placed on the defective point is fixed to the pipe by two or more steel bands which, once tensioned by a pneumatic device, are blocked by wedges.

Tubular sleeves are available for the restoration of longer sections of pipe as well as in special execution for branches, siphons, etc.
At the end of the laying, each sleeve is tested by injecting from a special air valve at 0.5 bar and then checking the sealing areas of the sheath by soaping.
