Manual Rehabilitation

Our manual rehabilitation specialists can solve all your infiltration/inflow problems restoring your structures to “better than new” conditions in less time than it would take to replace them and for a fraction of the cost.

Epoxy: Our technicians use a wide range of 100% solids, zero-VOC epoxies to meet your exact requirements. These ultra high-quality products can be sprayed or troweled-on to achieve a 1/4 inch (250 mil) wet-film thickness-on vertical or overhang surfaces without sagging. They are modifiable to meet specific flexural modulus and strength, cure fast even under water, and provide premium corrosion resistance where high concentrations of hydrogen sulfide, sulfuric acid, sodium hydroxide, hydrocarbons and an array of other chemicals are present.

Cementitious: We also perform cementitious manhole rehabilitation using products that are blended, specifically for the job at hand. These unique, high-strength formulations allow a monolithic 1/2 inch to 3 inches one pass spray application that helps restore structural integrity to deteriorating manholes and provide a permanent seal against corrosion, infiltration and exfiltration.

Culverts are subjected to the deteriorating effects of weathering and also scoured by years of carrying sand and other debris. SHOTCRETE rehabilitation can add decades of useful service to the structure without complete removal.

Improper joint connections in corrugated metal pipe and the resulting flow through these open joints can cause voids to occur outside the wall of the pipe. These voids can lead to unstable soil conditions, deflection of the pipe and complete collapse of the street or area above the line. SHOTCRETE is used to repair the joints. Pressure grout is injected outside the wall of the pipe to fill the voids and stabilize the subgrade. This combination offers a permanent repair of the line.

In many cases, the damage in a corrugated metal pipe culvert occurs in the invert and would require SHOTCRETE repairs in this area only.

Complete culvert rehabilitation using SHOTCRETE can be accomplished without disruption of traffic, as it would be required with cutout and replace systems. The flow in the culvert is also maintained during the rehabilitation process.
